Due to a scheduling conflict with the Southern Outlaw Late Model Series and the 38th Annual Cecil Harlan Memorial Kegger being pushed back one week due to weather, we will be off on Saturday, April 8th, 2017. The late model race has been rescheduled for May 13th along with the first $1,500 to win, 100 lap Enduro of the season.
Up next for the legendary Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK will be the first night of track point racing in all five classes plus the annual Easter celebration which will include a huge Easter egg hunt.
The Easter egg hunt will start promptly at 4 PM at the track, so you will need to make sure the kids, up to 11 years old, are there before that time. There will be three age divisions: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-11 years old. Thanks to Tommy New, the new track lessee and promoter, there will be 3,000 eggs to be found. In each age division there will be special eggs. These eggs will get one girl and one boy from each division a grand prize. There will be other prizes, too, besides the goodies in the eggs. The grand prizes will be two power wheels for the 0-3 year olds, a boys and girls bicycle for the 4-6 year olds and also for the 7-11 year olds.
Also, the first 100 kids through the front gate, with an adult, will get an Easter basket full of goodies, thanks to Menasco Racing Enterprises.
