The 44th Annual Spooker!
The 44th Annual Spooker at the mighty Tri-State Speedway returns this season with over $80,000 up for grabs, starting on October 18th and continuing through the 211st. This year’s event will feature racing in eleven different classes from Front Wheel Drives and Mini-Stocks through Open Late Models and everything in between.
Besides the qualifying and heat races over three days of competition, this year’s event will also feature two complete shows for the USRA Modifieds with one each on Friday, paying $1,200 to win, and Saturday night, paying $2,000 to win. Open late models will once again be paying $3,000 to win. The USRA Factory Stocks on Saturday night will be paying $1,200 to win! The USRA B-Mods will be $1,500 to win!
NOTE: We will be using USRA rules for the classes noted, but no registration/license is required as national points will not be awarded.
If you’ve never been to a Spooker and experienced “the Spooker”, you’re in for an absolutely great time. Not too many single events have been around for 44 consecutive years, so it is a privilege to say you’ve been to one and how many you’ve been to. The Spooker is not just an event, it’s a destination!
A camping/RV area will once again be available for free and will be located on the grass area behind turns one and two to the north of the public parking lot. There are not hookups, though. It's always a fun time to camp out and meet new friends!
The collectible Spooker shirts will once again return this year with all the previous Late Model and Modified winners from the previous Spookers. The design and pricing will be available soon.
Who can add their name to these lists for 2022? Can anyone repeat the feat of Ryan “The Reaper” Gustin with wins in both of the two big classes from the 2020 version?
