37th Annual Spooker Information Released
The classes and winning/start pay (for several classes) have been announced, as well as the schedule and ticket pricing, for the 37th Annual Spooker at the legendary Tri-State Speedway on October 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th, 2016.
The eleven classes will include: Mini-Stocks, Front Wheel Drives, Lead Sleds, Pure Stocks, Factory Stock/IMCA Stock Cars, Super Stocks, Grand Nationals, IMCA Sport Mods/USRA B Mods, IMCA Modifieds, USRA Modifieds and SOLMS Late Models. On the combined classes, if there are at least 25 cars in each class, the classes will be split.
• The Pure Stocks will be competing for $300 to win and $50 to start with a $10 entry fee, using published 2016 TSS Pure Stock rules or published 2016 Crawford County Speedway Street Stock rules.
• The Factory Stock/IMCA Stock cars will be competing for $750 to win and $100 to start with a $75 entry fee that includes a two day driver pit pass using published area 2016 Factory Stock rules or 2016 IMCA Stock Car rules. You must bring a copy of the area Factory Stock rules if running them. No mixing of the rules allowed.
• The Super Stocks will be competing for $2,000 to win and $300 to start with a $200 entry fee that includes a two day driver pit pass using published 2016 TSS Super Stock rules.
• The Grand Nationals will be competing for $2,000 to win and $300 to start with a $200 entry fee that includes a two day driver pit pass using published 2016 area track rules. You must bring a copy of your rules with you to the track. No mixing of area track rules.
• The IMCA Sport Mods/USRA B Mods will be competing for $1,200 to win and $200 to start with a $175 entry fee that includes a two day driver pit pass using published 2016 national IMCA/USRA rules.
• The USRA Modifieds will be competing for $2,000 to win and $300 to start with a $200 entry fee that includes a two day driver pit pass using published 2016 national USRA rules.
• The IMCA Modifieds will be competing for $3,000 to win and $300 to start with a $200 entry fee that includes a two day driver pit pass using published 2016 national IMCA rules. $1,000 of the winning pay check is presented by Menasco Racing Enterprises who will also pay an additional $500 to the longest tow in this class.
• The Mini-Stocks, Front Wheel Drives and Lead Sleds will not have an entry fee. These classes will run published 2016 Crawford County Speedway rules. . • The SOLMS (Southern Outlaw Late Model Series) will be competing for $1,000 to win and $150 to start with either a $20 or $40 entry fee using the published 2016 SOLMS rules. The schedule of events are as follows: • Wednesday, October 12th: Gates open at 5 PM for an open practice session for all classes from 6 PM to 10 PM. Pit passes are $15 each and grandstands are free.
• Thursday, October 13th: Gates open at 3 PM. Draw ends at 6:30 PM with racing at 7 PM. Mini-Stocks, Front Wheel Drives and Lead Sleds will run a complete race program. The Pure Stocks and Factory Stock/IMCA Stock Cars will also be qualifying with B Features. Pit passes are $30 for adults and $15 for kids (6-12). Grandstand tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (6-12).
• Friday, October 14th: Gates open at 2 PM. Draw ends at 6:30 PM with racing at 7 PM. The Pure Stocks and Factory Stock/IMCA Stock Cars will run their last chance qualifier and their 20 lap A Features. The Super Stocks, Grand Nationals, IMCA Sport Mods/USRA B Mods, IMCA Modifieds and USRA Modifieds will all be qualifying. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $15 for kids (6-12). Grandstand tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for kids (6-12).
• Saturday October 15th: Gates open 12 noon. Sign in ends at 4:30 PM with racing at 5 PM. The SOLMS late models will run a complete show. The Super Stocks, Grand Nationals, IMCA Sport Mods/USRA B Mods, IMCA Modifieds and USRA Modifieds will run their B Features, last chance qualifiers and their 30 lap A Features. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $20 for kids (6-12). Grandstand tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for kids (6-12).
