Free Backpacks During the Back to School Races

On Saturday night, August 1st, 2015, Tri-State Speedway will be giving away FREE kid's backpacks with paid admission. The bakpacks will be given out to the first 50 school-aged children who are accompanied by their parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) who are attending the races this weekend.

We want to help out our families, including the children, who come out and support us each weekend throughout the racing season. This will be our first year for this event and we look forward to doing it again each year going forward.

We want to give a big thanks to Menasco Racing Enterprises for providing the backpacks this weekend and for the free kid's bicycles that are given out each month during the bicycle races. Six bicycles have been given away so far this season with two more to be given away in August and and two more in September.

Racing continues this weekend with point racing in the Pure Stock, Factory/IMCA Stock, Super Stock, IMCA Sport Mod, IMCA Modified and TSS Modified classes. With the point racing season now past the half way point, the competition at the top of the classes is getting hot.

Pit gates open at 4 PM with the grandstands at 5 PM. Pre-race ceremonies are scheduled for 7:45 PM and with first green flag action at 8 PM. Adult grandstand admission is just $10, seniors (65+) are $8 and kids (6-12) are only $5. Pit passes are $30 for adults and $15 for kids (6-12).
